Last week, Basar and I attended Leap 2024 Conference in Riyadh. This year's content and venue were better than last year's, and we were glad to be part of it. We had a very busy four days, both at the main event and at the side events.
The highlight of Leap 2024 was RemotePass's announcement of a new investment round. Founded by Kamal Reggad and Karim Nadi, RemotePass allows businesses to onboard, manage, and pay their talent base in countries without a local legal presence. Having led a $5.5 million Series A investment round, we are privileged to be part of Kamal and Karim’s journey. You can read more in the TechCrunch article.
Speaking of investment news, Simya invested in Phitech. Selma will write more about the company and investment later this week. However, you can read more here (in Turkish).
